Shipping Policy

 We are currently offering free shipping for purchases from $500 and above within USA and Canada.

If you would like an order shipped to anywhere else in the world, please email us at support@containerestates.com, and we will gladly work something out with you!

  • Order cut off time: 3:00PM
  • Order handling time: 1 – 2 days Monday through Friday
  • Transit time: 1 – 5 days 

Local Delivery And Installation

As a general rule we will send a lorry capable of offloading whatever we are delivering to the side and at 90 degrees to the lorry (just clear of the stabilizer leg). If your delivery location requires anything significantly different please let us know, we have larger cranes for specialist purposes and can accommodate a lot of challenging deliveries with the right vehicle including offloading in front of the cab.

  • Our lorries are capable of delivering your cabin or container to the side and at 90 degrees to the lorry, just clear of the stabilizer leg.
  • Our fleet includes larger cranes for challenging situations, including offloading in front of the cab (please request a quote if this service is required).
  • Consider the size of the lorry in terms of the delivery location including height restrictions, overhead obstructions, space for turning corners and entering gates.
  • We are not responsible for any damage to manhole or drain covers or surfaces (such as pavements, fields or grass) during delivery.
  • In the event of our vehicle getting stuck, you will be liable for the cost of recovery and any damage that results, as well as any parking or permit costs incurred.

On arrival our drivers will report to your Site Manager to agree a lifting plan before starting work and will level the container as required. Please note that if any corner needs levelling more than 200mm you will need to let us know in advance. The drivers will ensure that all doors and apertures open correctly before leaving site.

Our delivery team is trained to to carry out all necessary assessments for safe installation, using standard generic risk assessment for unloading and loading of cabins and containers by lorry mounted crane. Please refer to Health and Safety for more information about our commitment to safety or discuss with your contact in Hire or Sales who will refer to the Transport team as required.

Customs, Duties and Taxes For International Orders

Container Estates is not responsible for any customs and taxes applied to your order. All fees imposed during or after shipping are the responsibility of the customer (tariffs, taxes, etc.).

Invalid Addresses

We are not responsible for any invalid or incorrect address entered at checkout. If your order is lost due to an invalid address inputted upon checkout, a refund will not be issued. We reserve the right to make any necessary changes to your address when there are minor errors preventing your order from shipping.

If your shipping address is flagged as invalid, we may reach out via email or phone call to confirm the shipping address details. If we do not hear back and the address is shippable, we will ship the order as it is. If the shipping address is missing essential details and we do not hear back from you prior to shipment, we will cancel and refund your order in full. Please keep an eye on your email inbox as well as your spam folders in case we need to contact you regarding your shipping address.

Tracking Delays

If your tracking link has not been sent or updated from the moment your order is in transit, we kindly ask that you email us at support@containerestates.com to investigate issue.
